Description
We work together with a supplier that has all of its factories certified by GOTS – the Global Organic Textile Standard – and is audited by the Fair Wear Foundation.
The cotton that is used for our t-shirts is 100% organic and GMO-free, grown without chemicals, fertilizers or pesticides and processed and dyed without any banned toxic substances.
Further, the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 prohibits certain potentially harmful substances even where they are not (yet) legally banned and ensures the absence of chemical substances that are harmful to human health and the environment.
From farm to factory, the entire chain of production is tracked by GOTS, including harvest, weaving, assembly and export. The production encourages the rotation of crops in order to keep the soil healthier and more fertile.
Both GOTS and Fair Wear Foundation ensure compliance with the labor standards of the International Labour Organisation and the PETA certification of our supplier means that no animal tests were conducted or commissioned.
